The Black Bears Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams are proud members of National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 20 and the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (WPCC). Penn Highlands competes at the Division III level of the NJCAA.
Golf competes across two separate seasons, with matches taking place in both the fall and spring semesters. Home matches are held at Windber Country Club in Salix, PA.

| Derek Leach began his tenure at Penn Highlands in 2021. He is the Lead Instructor of the Laurel Highlands Golf Academy and the PGA Director of Instruction at Windber Country Club. He holds a bachelor's degree from Pitt-Johnstown, where he competed on the golf team for three seasons. After officially turning professional in 2014, Leach has competed in numerous tournaments and has been an instructor for more than a decade. |
