 d its Police Academy program. Detailed information about the state require
 ments needed to qualify for a cadet position in the upcoming academy class
  will be provided.\n\n\nRepresentatives from Financial Aid and Admissions 
 will be available to answer your questions.\n\nThis Police Academy open ho
 use will take place at the Richland Campus\, in room A143.\n\n\n\nThe loca
 l Municipal Police Academy (MPS 0011) is a part of Pennsylvania Highlands 
 Community College. The College's Police Academy is a certified unit of the
  Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officers’ Education and T
 raining Commission (Act 120).\n\nThe Police Academy training program is ap
 proximately nine and a half months. Classes are Monday through Friday from
  6 to 10 PM\, including several weekends.\n\nAcademy graduates earn:\n\n[s
 u_list icon="icon: arrow-circle-right" icon_color="#006233"]\n\n 	Act 120 
 certification (enables the graduate to test for a Commonwealth Municipal P
 olice Training (MPT) number required of all municipal police officers in P
 ennsylvania).\n 	a certificate in Criminal Justice (18 credits).\n 	Eligib
